Types of Guns and their Dimensions

A handgun is a pistol, especially one that has a chuck, an integral part of the gun's barrel, although the two terms are often used interchangeably in common usage. The earliest pistols were made in Europe and came from the Middle French Pistol (circa 1550) meaning a gun or small knife. You can also purchase the best hand gun bag via

Types of Guns:

Full-Size Gun: The full-size pistol is a semi-automatic pistol in the market. This is because in most cases they are designed and developed to meet firearm contract criteria for use in official roles, or law enforcement agencies.

Compact Gun: The compact pistol or gun, as the name suggests, is a slightly smaller version of the full-size pistol. It performs the pistol's two primary roles (open secondary and concealed primary) exactly as it should, with sufficient ammo capacity in its standard form.

Gun Dimensions: Full-size pistols typically have an average height (including grip length) of 5.5 inches and a barrel length of 4.5 to 5 inches, approximately a quarter of an inch depending on the manufacturer.

Full-size Pistol Type: Examples of full-size pistols include weapons such as the Glock 17, 21, 22, 34, and 41, Tactical HK USP, Tactical P30L, VP9, Tactical HK45, and HK45; SIG P226, P320 XFULL, and P320 M17; FNH FNX-4, FNS-9 Longslide, FN-509 Tactical; Beretta M9/92F (and all variants), S&W M&P 2.0 CORE Pro 5-inch series, and the Colt 1911A1, 2011 and similar pistols from other manufacturers.
