Lower Back Pain and the Common Causes

There is no single diet that can be considered the best treatment for lower back pain. The wide array of back pain causes and the varying severity of each cause require that treatment methods are specifically tailored to each individual condition. Thus, it is difficult to say that rest, drugs or surgery can not be considered the best options for treating lower back pain for each diagnosed case.

Of course, from the point of view of preference and convenience, doctors hope that rest, therapy and other non-invasive treatments will be sufficient to treat lower back problems. Indeed, the prescription of rest, therapy and the pain implies that the disease has not increased beyond the point where it already requires surgery.

However, there are also times when surgery becomes the best treatment for lower back pain and no other method will suffice. This is usually because a hernified disk is damaged enough that it continuously supports on the nerve roots surrounding its location resulting in extreme and continuous pain.

When this happens, rest or drugs may not be enough to treat the condition. In these circumstances, surgery can become the only option for a permanent and satisfactory solution.

There are many types of back surgery that can be used to treat lower back pain. In the most military cases, the disk of the protruding spine is shaved to reduce the mass of bone that affect the nerves. In more advanced cases, the removal of the disc is required.

The Best Supplements For Anxiety and Stress

With more and more people suffering from anxiety disorders it is not surprising that a growing number of people are starting to search for natural remedies for anxiety.

It should come as no surprise then, the association between anxiety and food being widely accepted, that vitamins are now being considered as an aid to anxiety sufferers.

With so many people leading busy, hectic lives where our diet is often the first thing to endure, it makes sense that some vitamin stress supplements or a change in diet to help our day to day intake of vitamins is likely to help with anxiety. So which vitamins for anxiety are best?

Omega 3 stems from fish oil and is proven to help with depression and anxiety. Described by some as "brain food" it is good for adults and kids alike as it will help to maintain the health of brain cells and improve the way that compound messages move around the brain. Research has shown that people who have a deficiency of Omega 3 in their diet are more likely to suffer from anxiety and depression than those who don't.

B vitamins are a group of vitamins that are associated with general good health. A deficiency can lead to, among other issues, insomnia and mood changes, not really the sort of symptoms that you want to have alongside an anxiety disorder. Vitamin B is also thought to have a beneficial effect on people suffering from depression.
